17 recovered patients released by Ghana Health Service

The Ghana Health Service made sure that the recovered patients tested negative twice before being released to go home and enjoy their freedom.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, April 14, 2020, the Director-General of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Patrick Aboagye, said 66 others have tested negative and are awaiting their second test to determine their recovery status.

Covid-19 infected patients are not just tested once and released when confirmed negative. A second test has to be done to be really sure before they are finally released.

He revealed that currently, only two people of the 566 people infected with the virus are in critical condition.

With the infected people who are in critical condition,the medical team are working hard to ensuring total and speedy recovery.
