A player of Ghana Premier League club Inter Allies has died in an accident

 
 
Prince Appiah a player of Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies has died after being involved in a car accident.
A statement from Inter Allies confirmed the passing of the striker, describing the news as “heartbreaking”
“Inter Allies are profoundly shaken to announce the death of one of our players, Prince Appiah,” the statement read.

“He was involved in a fatal car accident on early hours of Sunday around Cantonments in Accra. He was taken to Police Hospital and later to Korle Bu Teaching Hospital where he battled for his life till he passed away this afternoon [Wednesday]. We are very sad and heartbroken with this terrible news.”


Prince Appiah previously played for Karela FC in the Division One league before joining Inter Allies in the Ghanaian topflight.

The former Berekum Chelsea attacker only joined the Tema-based side in May 2018, but unfortunately his dreams have been cut short by death.
