On behalf of all the people here, I plead on our leaders, especially the President and all the chiefs to help create awareness for people to stop neglecting those with mental problems. We should all pay attention to such people and let them feel part of society,” he said.

Kwadee who has suffered some mental issues over the years said he is recovering and his comeback will focus on drug abuse and its effect on the youth.

“When I come back, the message is going to be more about the youth and how to come out of all these drug abuse and street kind of life,” he hinted.

The visit by some top executives of Musicians’ Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), was hastened by recent media reports that the musician has been abandoned at the rehab centre by his family.

The Union’s executives, led by Ras Caleb Appiah Levi, the Greater Accra Chairman of MUSIGA donated packs of sachet water, drinks and an undisclosed amount of money to Kwadee for his personal upkeep.
