Man arrested for stealing MPs’ toilet roll at Parliament House (photos)

Police in parliament have arrested a 49-year-old man for stealing two bundles of toilet roll reserved exclusively for use by the country’s legislators.

The man sneaked into Job 600 which is the offices of the lawmakers through the lifts and entered one washroom after another in search of unused bundles of toiletries.

The man was arrested after been questioned by some security men who were stationed at the office who saw him with the items.

Police have said how he gained access to the building will be investigated thoroughly and will also have his mind examined as investigations unfold.

However social media users have jumped to the defence of the man asking the police to release him since stealing toiletries is nothing as compared to what some politicians steal.
