Shatta Wale’s “Reign Album” Make History On The World ITunes Charts For Being The Most Flopped Of All Time

Shatta Wale’s 'Reign' album drops on iTunes chart after concert

Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale released his much-anticipated album ‘Reign’ on Saturday October 13, 2018.

The album’s release was climaxed with a concert dubbed ‘Reign Concert’ at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.

Several media outlets have described the concert which was attended by over 15,000 music lovers as successful.

The ‘Reign’ album has been received with mixed reactions. The album was quick to grab a position on iTunes charts few hours after release and made it to Number 2 on the Chart by 8pm on Saturday October 13, 2018.

Albums from A-list artistes are always expected to stay on top of charts for weeks, if not days. Shatta Wale grabbed a 2nd spot on iTunes Chart World Genre category few hours after release.

The album however found its way out of the chart in less than two days as it’s currently October 15, 2018 6pm number 160 on the same iTunes Charts World Genre category.

This has never happened in the history of World iTunes charts to other top artists like it has done to Shatta Wale before.

Many people were surprised to see the Album kicked out of iTunes chats in just two days after it’s main launch.

One interesting thing noticed is that, Wizkid’s AYO album released in September 2014 is currently performing well than that of Shatta Wale’s Reign released just few days ago.

AYO is Number 40 on iTunes Charts World Genre category while REIGN is Number 160 on same chart.
