Ghana’s undercover journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has dropped a hint of investigating Ghana’s Parliament and illegal mining popularly known as Galamsey in the country which are destroying our water bodies.

Anas who made this comment stated that a lot of Ghanaians had been on his neck to investigate these two things but he wants to assure them that he would do that at his own time when he feels he and his Tiger eye Pi group are ready.

According to him, no one can force him to conduct investigations into areas he is not prepared for but said he will relent in all his efforts to name, shame and jail.

Responding to when he would investigate parliament and activities of illegal mining in the country, Anas responded “about Galamsey and Parliament I can understand the anger of people in those areas. I will however not be forced by anybody to come out with premature stories”

He reiterated that once he starts whoever is considered a bad guy would be enveloped promising to churn out stories that have core evidence to nail the perpetrators.

“When I start the story whoever you are you will be enveloped. I will do the stories but cannot be forced to come out with anything without core evidence.

On threats to expose his identity coupled with claims his investigations fail to stand the test of time, he stated “nobody can shake my foundation because my investigations stand the legal test. I go through rigorous legal test as a lawyer I pick any story and look at the legal perspectives”

Asked if there are plans to conduct investigations into fishing he simply responded “ the fishing industry will be looked at one day”
