The multitalented Lynx Entertainment signee had a massive album launch concert yesterday, December 15, 2018, at the VIP Car Park of the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Thousands of music lovers were present to support the highlife artiste upon the release of his ‘Rockstar’ album.
The Angela hitmaker after hitting the stage to perform some of his popular tunes invited on stage some of his colleagues he has worked on a song with to support him. Strongman, Adina, Kwesi Arthur, Kidi, Okyeame Kwame, Tic and many other musicians are part of the tall lists of artistes who jumped on stage to help Kuami Eugene entertain the fans who paid to attend the concert.
The ‘Rockstar album features only Sarkodie and it has 13 songs including ‘Walahi,’ ‘Confusion,’ ‘Angela’, ‘Wish Me Well,’ Rockstar’ and ‘Heaven.’
To most patrons, one highlight of the concert was Kuami’s closing performance, Kuami Eugene decided to re-enact a scene in the video he did for ‘Wish Me Well,’ live on stage.
Kuami Eugene, who won the New Artiste of the Year at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards has been tipped by some music fans and pundits as a possible contender for the Artiste of the Year in next year’s VGMA
