The Charismatic Evangelistic Ministry in their quest to cut down extravagant marriage ceremonies and to encourage many to marry has launched the initiative, “Get Married with just Ghc1,000” and it trended on social media for the past week.
According to the flyer which went viral on Facebook, people who wish to marry but can’t afford the huge money involved can pay just Ghc1,000 to realise their dreams of marrying their loved ones.
The “Get Married with just Ghc1,000” is a package that includes;

Rings, 2 witnesses from both sides, 1 crate of drink, 1 box of water (to be provided by the church), 20 packs of food (for a maximum of 20 invited guests), Photography (a maximum of 10 pictures) and video coverage (to be provided by the church).
Well, the very first marriage under this great initiative has taken place.
