In most parts of the world, marriages are events that people often look forward to.
However in Ghana and Africa in general, organising a wedding is not an easy feat and families involved will usually feel the sting in their pockets.
Blessed with different cultures and traditions, the continent’s large number of tribes have their diverse ways of doing things.
Just like in many parts in Ghana, some ethnic groups in Nigeria are also known to to have such lavish ceremonies with Hugh bride prices.

AtinkaNews.net has gathered photos of what a young Nigerian man was asked to bring as a bride price.
The photos were shared on Facebook by a man who claimed to be a friend of the groom, identified as Promise Nony.
Promise however did not mention the name of the state where the occasion was held but from the couple’s outfits, it seems to be an eastern wedding
The young man who was quite surprised at the large number of items explained in his caption that he feels the pain of his friend for having to pay an expensive bride price.

He wrote: “Just coming back with a friend from one state in Nigeria for her wife bride price, I don’t want to mention the state name but by the items below u shall no them. That why I like IMO state they don’t behave like this intense of bride price i don’t call nameoooo
