Stonebwoy questions why President Akuffo Addo is silent on Menzgold saga

Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy is asking why President Nana Akufo-Addo has not commented on the Menzgold saga.

The “Bawasaba” hitmaker asked this question when he was asked in an interview with Joy News Doreen Avio who wanted to find out why he had never said anything about the gold investment company even though he was once an ambassador.

According to him, just like the president commenting on several issues affecting the country, he should do the same for the Menzgold issue.

“Have we asked ourselves why the president, our father, hasn’t been able to come to speak about that yet? That alone should tell us that it is a bigger issue more than me.” Stonebwoy told JoyNews

Whoever went into [an] investment with Menzgold has a contract with Menzgold,” and there are procedures people can follow to get their money back.

“This situation is actually beyond us [ambassadors],” the ‘Baafira’ hitmaker said.
