There is a fire outbreak at the City Gold Jewellery section of the Makola Shopping Mall in Accra.
A worker of the National Investment Bank, who was an eye-witness to the outbreak told the Ghana News Agency that the fire broke out after the owners had opened their shops,
He said smoke from the shop engulfed the bank area compelling the customers to run out of the facility.

A young lady who works at the mall, but preferred anonymity said the fire broke out in the shops that contained wigs and other hair pieces for women.
Activities at that part of the market have been halted as workers of the Ghana National Fire Service are busily working to bring the fire.
