Ghanaian rapper, Pope Skinny known in real life as Kwame Ohene Darko has taken a swipe at Shatta Wale and other artists for showing fake love to the embattled CEO of Menzgold Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM1) after his reported victory in the Dubai court case.
The Menzgold boss popularly known as NAM1 had reportedly been in a Dubai cell since November 2018 over a gold deal gone bad. A Dubai-based businessman had reported NAM1 for fraud in May 2018.
Since his arrest, NAM1 has been off social media. But he bounced back on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, after news went viral that the Dubai court had ruled in his favour and ordered the the other party to pay him all outstanding debts.
There has been mix reaction ever since the news of NAM1’s released hit the media whiles some Ghanaians are congratulating and celebrating NAM1’s coming back, others are worried if he is coming back to do the right thing or not.
According to pope skinny , artists signed to Zylofon Music and other people NAM1 helped never defended him when he went away and are now showing fake love after his release.
“Most Ghanaians are fake. After NAM1 was released people are now using his picture as profile pictures.
Everybody now hailing you is fake, from the artists to the ministers, to your friends and anyone you once offered help to are just showing fake love. They don’t love you”, Pope Skinny stated.
