Nigerian company manufactures armoured carriers for the army and police

A social media user recently shared photos of locally produced Armored Personnel Carrier (APC) vehicles for the Nigerian police and army, and some celebrities have reacted to the laudable development on their respective social media pages.

The Twitter user identified as Omasoro Ali Ovie, who shared the photos on his personal page, disclosed that the company responsible for producing the vehicles is situated in Ogun state.

As a show of support for the praiseworthy project, Ovie disclosed that the government of Ogun state purchased 15 vehicles for the state police.

This is a Nigerian company in Ijebu-Ode, manufacturing the some of the best Armored Personnel Carriers for Nigeria police and army,with massive local contents from scratch. The government in Ogun bought 15 for the police. Industrialization is the only pathway for prosperity in Nigeria.” he said.

Reacting to the news, singer Falz who is known for making socially conscious music, shared a screenshot photo of the vehicles on his Instagram page and commended the development. “This is the Nigeria we want to see. 

Also reacting, comedian Ali Baba shared the photo with a caption in which he implied that the country is making progress bit by bit.
