Man reportedly caught stealing in Atosu Roman catholic church

0 has come across the story of a man who was caught stealing at a church in Atosu . The man was caught stealing money from Martin De Porres Roman Catholic Church.

Reports by has it that the 30-year-old man identified as Louis Kwabena was very well dressed, in a dark blue shirt over a black pair of trousers with black shoes to match, managed to bypass the security checkpoint because the security man on duty said he mistook him for a congregant and allowed him to pass without questioning.

According to an eyewitness, the suspect headed straight to the residence of the Parish Priest, entered the room of the cook and attempted to bolt with the undisclosed amount of money which was in a sealed envelope

Some members of the parish who were present at the church premises managed to apprehend the knife-wielding suspect after he scaled the fence wall,

In a video currently circulating , the suspect is heard pleading for mercy from the mob that had surrounded him and threatening to beat him.

Unconvinced by his plea for mercy and his excuse, he was handed over to the Asokwa Divisional Police Command by the mob.
