Following the unfortunate incident which occurred at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, the two principal members involved – Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale – were detained by the Ghana Police Service.
After spending a night in police cells , shatta Wale has been granted bail by the Greater Accra Regional Police command.

After being released, Shatta Wale took to his social media handles to announce his come back and he had a message for his millions of followers both in Ghana and outside the country.
He sent a post on Instagram to his 1.4 million followers saying “this is just another Phase of the career !! Let the Laws work !!!!”
He signed off on the post with the hashtag #Freedom.
