Shatta Wale’s father confirms son’s arrest by the Ghana Police

Mr. Charles Mensah Senior, father to the popular dancehall artist, Shatta wale,  has confirmed that indeed his son has been arrested and detained by the Tesano Police alongside his rival Stonebwoy.

Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy are dominating the headlines for the wrong reason following the confusion that rocked Saturday’s, May 18, 2019’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

It all happened when Shatta Wale walked onto the stage with his entourage to allegedly congratulate Stonebwoy after he was named Dancehall Artiste of the Year.

However, Stonebwoy saw Shatta Wale’s action as an attack hence his decision to pull out a gun.

Yesterday, it was reported that the two artistes had been arrested by the police but both parties kept denying the report of their arrest.

In a new video we have sighted, Shatta Wale’s father, Mr. Charles Mensah confirmed that his son spent his night in the custody of the police even though he is struggling to understand why it happened.
