South African female dancer, Zodwa Wabantu says her fiancé will adopt her surname after marriage

33-year-old South African dancer Zodwa Wabantu has revealed that her 24-year-old fiancé, Ntobeko Linda would adopt her surname after they get married.

Zodwa who recently proposed to her boyfriend with a $47,000 ring said she had discussed the issue with her fiancé and he’s on the same page with her.

Wabantu added that people should stop telling them to be mindful of tradition, pointing out that making decisions regarding their unorthodox relationship rests solely on them.

Culture has nothing to do with us. We were not there when old people decided to do things their way. We will decide things for ourselves.

“We are different and we want to do things differently. Some people may not like the way we do things but we don’t care.

“I love my fans but this is a personal issue,” said Wabantu.

Zodwa Wabantu whose real name is Zodwa Rebecca Libram is a South African socialite and artist, she became popular for her pantl£ss dancing.
