Police in Ebonyi state have arrested a man for allegedly causing the death of his pregnant wife. The man was reported to the police by residents in his place of living in Ebonyi state, where the wife died.
The man had allegedly caused his wife’s death by insisting that she gives birth to their child at home.

According to reports, the man had allegedly watched as his wife bleeds to death in front of the fake midwife he found to deliver the baby.
In videos shared online, the man was seen weeping and looking remorseful as people in the neigbourhood called him a murderer.
The residents were also heard saying the man was pretending to be remorseful. A woman had narrated the story of how she found the pregnant woman dead in a pool of her blood
