Sad scenes as Amissah-Arthur’s family visits his graveside on first anniversary

The family of the late former vice president, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur, on Saturday, June 29, 2019, visited his grave at the Military Cemetery at Burma Camp in Accra.

The 67-year old former Bank of Ghana governor died June 29, 2018 after he collapsed at an Air Force gym and was rushed to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

His wife, Matlida and mother Effie Amissah-Arthur who is more than 90-year old visited his grave at the new Military Cemetry at Burma Camp in Accra.

They were joined by the children of the late leader.

The visit of the family formed part of the one year anniversary of the demise of the former vice president

Wearing white outfits, the family looked really sad as they paid their respects by Amissah-Arthur’s grave.
