6-year-old little girl abducted at Labone, Accra

Social media users have been left stunned over news of an alleged kidnap which happened on August

Family of 6-year-old girl are weeping over the loss of their young daughter. According to a post shared on Facebook by caled Nii Boye.

According to the reports on social media, the pretty little girl was kidnapped on Saturday, 17th August 2019 at Labone in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Already the family has reported the abduction of the young lady to the police who has launched an investigation into the case.

The family are now pleading with the general public to send any useful information that can help them in locating their child.

The case of abduction in Ghana is still a problem. Many children have been separated from their parents and have had to face a tougher life or used as bait to demand outrageous ransom.

A clear case is that of three girls who were kidnapped in Takoradi .

The first victim, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, was kidnapped at Kansaworodo on August 17, 2018; while the second victim, Ruth Love Quayson, 18, was kidnapped at the Butumegyabu Junction, popularly known as the BU Junction in Takoradi, on December 4, last year, with the third, Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie,15, a first-year student of the Sekondi College (SEKCO) who resided at West Fijai with her parents, she went missing at a location near the Nkroful Junction on December 4, last year.
