Businessman and philanthropist, Collen Mashawana, has been making headlines for his role in providing South Africans with new homes, thereby improving families’ living conditions drastically.
Collen Mashawana is without a doubt one of South Africa’s kindest businessmen.
The Afribiz founder has gifted several South Africans with new homes, including a 101-year-old man who waited decades for a decent residence.
Now, the entrepreneur extended his kindness yet again and built a beautiful bungalow for a 26-year-old lady who lived in a dilapidated shack.
According to reports by Briefly, Collen had initially promised to build Tebogo Makwala a home after the sight of her living condition broke his heart.
However, In a sweet Facebook post, the selfless businessman narrated how he gave 26-year-old Tebogo the surprise of a lifetime.
“She suffered severe burns at two-years old that have left her disabled. Tebogo has been living alone in an unsafe structure in Shikwambane Village for many years. We visited her a few weeks ago and witnessed her inhuman living conditions in the one room dwelling with no electricity, no water and no access to toilet,” Collen said.
“We promised we would come back and on that day we would be opening doors of a new home. Today is that day. We donated a two bedroom house, with a lounge, kitchen and toilet. The house comes with free house insurance cover for both the house and its contents. I wish her all the best and may God continue to protect and bless her,” he wrote.
