The four family members who died in a road accident in Akwanga, Nasarawa Sunday, September 15, 2019 have been buried
They were identified as Mrs. Ngumimi Comfort Jebe aged 32, her son David Jebe Iorwuese Jnr aged 10 and her two daughters Jebe Iorwueseter Beauty aged 7 and Jebe Favour Muthie Dooshima aged 2.
It was a sombre atmosphere as the mortal remains of the four family members who died in an accident at Akwanga were laid to rest on Wednesday, September 18.
Tears and grief took over the funeral ceremony as all present found it difficult to hold themselves together over the painful demise of the family.
Rev. Nyiyongo, who admonished Christians during a sermon for the burial of Tavershima Jebe’s wife Comfort Ngumimi and children David Iorwuese, Beauty Iwuese and Favour Dooshima, noted that because Jesus submitted himself to the authority of God even though he died, he was arisen and he lives.
According to the Reverend , Christians ought to know that the four are for God and not for mankind, adding, that even in death, they are God’s instrument.
He added that if the people understand the mystery of life it will help them to correct themselves and do away with those things that make them come short before the glory of God.
“It is God alone that can console this family for we don’t have much to do that will console them. Tavershima is for God, the Jebe family is for God and so also those who gave birth to our wife (Comfort). Therefore, only God will console them.
“Jesus was for God and he died for God and because of that we have life. It is therefore true that those who die in God will come back to life as did Jesus because he lives. May God enable those living to realise this and give God thanks in all things,” Rev. Nyoyongo prayed.
