I used to be poor, I borrowed clothes and sneakers from friends – Fameye

Ghanaian musician, Fameye has disclosed some difficult moments he went through before hitting the limelight in his musical career.

In an interview recorded with zionfelix.net, the ‘Nothing I Get’ hit-maker said he used to be poor and getting money to buy clothes and sneakers was really a headache back then.

Unlike other Entertainers who were always keeping up with fashion trends and wearing new clothes as often as possible, Fameye just couldn’t afford.

“Many thought I have money but I was borrowing these items from my friends,” he stated.

He stated that currently his music is bringing him income so he has quit borrowing from friends.

When he was asked about how the ‘Nothing I Get’ hit came into being, Fameye disclosed that it is a true story of himself and friends.

He also said many are out there who are perceived to be rich but in reality, they have nothing just like he said in his song.
