Shatta Wale beats Stonebwoy, Sarkodie and others to Bag Artiste Of The Year Award at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK

The fourth annual Ghana Music Awards UK was held yesterday, 5th October at the Discovery Centre, Jenkins Lane, Barking in London. The program was a massive success with no incidents as what we witnessed some back with its Ghana version.

The fun packed night also saw the very best in entertainment and culture with performances and appearances by some of the biggest names across television, film, music and the media industry as a whole.

Interestingly, Dancehall superstar and the boss of Shatta Movement, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior popularly known in the industry as Shatta Wale was crowned as the Artiste of the Year at the 2019 Ghana Music Awards UK, the overall award.

The award which was keenly contested by the likes of Sarkodie, Medikal, Stonebwoy, KiDi, Kuami Eugene and King Promise was won by the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker.

He was also the biggest winner of the night as he bags two extra awards.That is, he won the Dancehall Artiste of the Year as well as the Most Popular Song of the Year award with his My Level song.
