The BBC’ is set to release an explosive documentary on the practice of sex-for-grades by some lecturers in top universities in the West African sub-region.
As earlier reported , the expose has implicated two Ghanaian lecturers from the University of Ghana.
Renowned political scientist Professor Ransford Gyampo, who is the head of European Studies at the university, is one of the two people caught in the video.
The other lecturer caught is known as Dr Paul Kwame Butakor from the Department of Teacher Education.
Following the news of Butakor’s implication, photos of the embattled lecturer’s wife have popped up on social media.
The photos sighted on social media show Dr Butakor and his wife are very close as a couple.
In one of the photos, Dr Butakor was dressed nicely in a suit while standing beside his wife who was also wearing a long overcoat.
The other photo has Mrs Butakor who wore a blue jacket over a white blouse with a blue and black skirt posing with her husband who was in an academic gown.
The second photo was taken sometime in 2016 when the lecturer completed his studies for a doctorate degree.
Meanwhile, the BBC is set to release the full documentary on Monday, October 7 at 6 pm on all BBC Africa’s social media handles, Facebook and Youtube.
