Social media users blast Efya for saying Kanye West’s gospel album has saved her

Ghanaian singer Jane Awindor popularly known as Efya Nokturnal has come under fire on social media after claiming Kanye West’s gospel album has saved her.

On October 25, 2019, American rapper Kanye West also known as Yeezus, released his much-anticipated gospel album titled “Jesus Is King”

Upon its release, Kanye West’s Jesus Is King was met with polarizing reactions from fans and critics alike.

One positive response came from Ghanaian singer, songwriter, and actress, Efya, privately known as Jane Awindor.

Efya after listening to the album wrote “omg omg omg omg omg Kanye West just saved my life … thank you Jesus …!!!”

What one may think it is good news to fans who believe in the Christian faith, rather attracted attack from some fans, who had issues with Efya’s post. Most wondered why she wasn’t ever saved by the music from Ghanaian Gospel musicians or Christians personalities.

These unhappy fans took to Twitter to register their disappointment in Efya’s post.
