Authorities in Ghana including the Ghana Tourism Authority have been making efforts to root out prostitutes from all walks from Ghanaians life.
Some months ago, the pr0stitutes chased away these officials at a brothel in Kotokoli Zongo in the Suhum Municipality after they tried to gain access to the structure.

The officers from the Authority, who had gone to the makeshift structure in a bid to ascertain whether the facility was being used as a brothel as alleged before closing it down, took to their heels.
According to sources close to the facility, the brothel in the region operates 24 hours daily and is reportedly a hotspot for some Senior High School boys who skip classes and pay as little as GH¢ 5.00 to patronize the services of the sɛx workers.
