A video making rounds on social media shows a level hundred student being beaten by a group of other students for allegedly offending one of them. The incident happened at a hostel on the 16th of, November, 2019.
The student who was assaulted, Bolu is said to be severely injured and receiving medical attention. Rumors have it that, the guy who was seen beating the lady is the school father of the girl who claimed that the level 100 student offended her.

As seen in the video, the gang walked up to the level 100 student in her room and started assaulting her even to the extent of using a whip on her. The offenders have however been placed in police custody following the incident. The students who are said to be students of Federal University of Technology Akure have been suspended by the institution and will face the law for their actions.

According to a report by the institution, the University Management is providing medical and counseling support for the affected student.
