Burna Boy to South Africans – “You are going to have to kill me to stop me”

Nigerian singer Burna Boy has finally broken his silence following tweets from South Africans asking that he apologies before he performs at the Africa Unite concert.

Things got ugly between Burna Boy, rapper AKA and many others, after making it public on Twitter, that he would not step his feet in SA till the xenophobic attack is sorted.

Burna Boy also warned South African rapper AKA to be fully protected the next time they happen to meet.

However, a month later, he was announced as part of the “Africans Unite” line-up to “unify all Africans and speak out against femicide” which is set to take place in Pretoria on November 24.

SA rapper, AKA, has also used the opportunity to demand an apology from Burna. According to him, he is ready to swallow his pride and Burna should do the same if truly he is an African giant.

In a post on Twitter, a South African follower also warned the African Giant not to come to his country because he would embarrass himself.

Burna Boy in response to the fan’s tweet said that he is definitely coming to South Africa and anyone who is against it will have to kill him.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, 16th of November, the Nigerian star in response to the calls for him to apologize to South Africans for his comments on the xenophobic attacks, Burna Boy had this to say:

Saying I mislead people? And I made up the Xenophobic attacks and I should apologise. Really? Lol. In 2015 Even I was a victim of the misguided hate so I know. Go and demand apologies from your REAL Enemies. I am not your Enemy. I will not be called “foreigner” I am AFRICAN,”
