Davido’s crew jabs Wizkid for buying fake Richard Mille Wristwatch for his manager

Much-love Nigerian musician Ayo Balogun AKA Wizkid, has come under fire after he bought a N40m Richard Mille Wristwatch for his manager, Sunday Are,

Sunday Are, turned a year older on November 18, 2019, and Wizkid made sure to celebrate him in a special way on his Instagram page with the expensive timepiece worth about $150,000.

Wizkid shared a video which showed the moment he presented the gift to his manager. In the video, the singer declared his love for his manager and also went on to say he deserves it.

However, Davido’s associate Aloma in a series of posts on his Instagram Story mocked the birthday gift and described it as being a knock off of the original brand.

In a now-deleted post, he wrote: “Richard awon milli lere leleyi ooo” adding “Shoe dey come with size, orignal fake seff dey. Congrats! we know the story”.

Another ‘analyst’ identified as Mike, @michaelhermann_, a Richard Mille Expert gave details as to why the Watch is fake, he also shared photos of how the watch should look. He wrote;

RM55 don’t have that bezel case color at all. The skeleton movement is much smaller and the dial makers are longer”

This comes just a few days after Davido splashed huge sums of money on a similar watch which he flaunted on social media.

The singer shared a photo of his expensive Richard Mille watch on his Instagram page and jokingly cried that he had to break his bank account to make the purchase.

He added that even though it was an expensive buy, he just had to do it.

“It hurt my account but I had to do it ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️??? #AGOODTIME” Davido wrote as he flaunted his $150,000 watch on the gram.
