Wedding bells are ringing for 71-year-old Ron Sheppard, who is known as Britain’s most married man. It was gathered that Sheppard is set to walk down the aisle with wife number 9, 30-year-old Rose Hans.
Sheppard who hails from Somerton in England proposed to Hans, after a year of dating online. The couple are yet to meet each other but are set to walk down the aisle in February 2020, Daily Mail reports.

The 71-year-old groom-to-be whose friend’s have nicknamed ‘Lord of the Wedding Rings’ as he’s tied the knot so many times, expressed excitement over tying the knot with Hans, who he is yet to meet.
He stated that he believes that this marriage will work out. Guess 9th time is a charm then.
Sheppard is a father of eight and married his first wife in 1966 when he was 19, they had three children and divorced after two years.

He then married wife number two, Jeanette, in 1973 and divorced after just one year together. Mr Sheppard later described the union as a ‘business transaction’, Daily Mail reports.
Wife number three was Lesley who he wedded in 1976. He left five years later following a string of arguments. The couple have two sons.
He married wife number four, Kathy in 1982 after meeting in a holiday camp. They had a daughter and lasted four years. Wife number five was Sue, met in a bingo hall and married in 1986. They had two sons but she threw him out in 1997.

Sheppard married Usha, wife number six wed in 1999. They split after four years when he reportedly cheated on her in Thailand.
He married wife number seven, Wan in 2003. They met in Bangkok. The pair were in the United Kingdom for just eight months when Wan left him and returned home.
Weng was wife number 8 whom he married in 2004. The pair met online and Sheppard flew out to the Philippines. The couple were together for 11 years and split in 2015.
Now, he is set to marry Rose who is completing her nursing course in Ghana and is set to move to the UK and marry Sheppard once she is done.
