‘Frustrated’ boutique owner speaks in new video; says Sarkodie, 3 others owe him

Ghanaian musician and boutique owner, Don Elijah, as he is commonly called, has revealed that Sarkodie, Hammer, Edem, and Kwaw Kese owe him.

Don Elijah said since 2008, the group has refused to pay for clothes they bought from him to shoot their “U dey craze” song video produced by Hammer of Last 2. The Last 2 group was made up of the afore-mentioned musicians.

For the music video, the crew each wore a “huge” T-shirt which could not have cost more than GHC30 then, however, Don Elijah said they could not afford to pay.

Speaking in a video seen on the internet , Don Elijah said he had reached an agreement with the group that if they could not pay the money, they should give him credit in their songs. This, too, the Last 2 crew refused to do.

According to him, the agreement was for them to give him credit on the album cover, beginning of the video, the end screen and on their social media platforms but that never happened up to date.

He added that anytime he tried to reach out to Hammer, he tells him stories of how busy he is and so could not meet him.

Don Elijah expressed the hope that Hammer, Sarkodie, Edem, and Kwaw Kese would do well to settle him.
