Wendy Shay’s ‘RIP massage to Kobe Bryant gets Ghanaians talking

Popular Ghanaian Afro-pop musician, Wendy Shay, has set tongues wagging on social media with her farewell message to former Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, Kobe Bryant.

Kobe Bryant, recently passed on after he was involved in a helicopter crash in Calabasas on the morning of January 26.

Following the tragic news of American basketball legend and his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, social media has been thrown into mourning over what they described as a devastating and heartbreaking loss.

several celebrities and fans took to social media to express their condolence to the family.

One of such persons were Ghanaian singer Wendy Addo known professionally as Wendy Shay, who took to her Twitter to express her shock at the news.

The Rufftown Records artiste mourning the death of the superstar tweeted, “RIP Kobe Bryant until we meet again.”

It is not clear whether Wendy Shay had a personal relationship with the late superstar, however, Ghanaian twitter trolls found her words as ‘an attention-seeking.’
