Popular Nigerian musician, Yemi Alade, has said that a Masai once offered her 20 cows to ask for her hands in marriage.
The Shake singer said that what dealt the marriage proposal a deadly blow was that the Masai’s friend said she is too fat and cannot build houses.

It should be noted that the Masai people, according to Wikipedia, are a Nilotic ethnic group in northern, central and southern Kenya. They can also be found in northern Tanzania.
They are about the most popular local people because their homes are always very close to game parks of the African Great Lakes.
In addition to her post, she said Masai’s wives have their houses close to each other.
Yemi also commented on the skillfulness of the ethnic group in building construction.
