Kennedy Agyapong defends Nana Ama McBrown over viral kissing video

Assin Central Member of Parliament, Kennedy Agyapong, has come to the rescue of Nana Ama Mcbrown after the latter was criticized on American television station, Fox 5 News for over kissing her daughter, Maxin Mawusi Mensah.

Hon. Agyapong said the TV station lacked understanding of Ghanaian culture and as such had no moral right to describe the actress’ way of showing affection to her child “as disgusting”

Nana Ama Mcbrown, in a video which has since gone viral, was seen licking her baby’s hand and passionately kissing her. An act most people have described as extreme and unnecessary

But Fox 5 News took the controversies a notch higher when they allowed pundits to lampoon the over 40-year-old mother of one.

Responding to Fox 5 News, a livid Ken Agyapong said the television station with international repute demonstrated “crass-ignorance”

Speaking on his Oman FM on Tuesday, March 4, 2020, the Assin Central MP indicated he once met McBrown a the Heathrow Airport in London and they had a conversation about her childbirth and it is only those who didn’t known that would criticise her.

Touching on how the video got onto social media, Ken Agyapong pointed out that it has now become scary to invite friends and bloggers because of the tendency to make social media contents, can be very destructive just like what is happening to Nana Ama McBrown.

We are misusing social media and it is very sickening. If these bloggers had not posed the video, will Fox News have the effrontery to do this,” he fumed
