Covid-19 : Osei Kwame Despite & brother Ofori Osei donate $100k to KATH [Video ]

Popular Business moguls, Dr. Osei Kwame Despite and Dr. Ernest Ofori Sarpong have joined other Ghanaians philanthropists to give back to society in this time of hardship.

The Chief Executive Officer of the Despite Group of Companies, Dr Osei Kwame Despite and his brother, Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong have made a cash donation of $100,000.00 to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) for the fight against COVID- 19.

They made the donation to representatives of the hospital at a simple ceremony earlier today, March 27.

The donation will help health authorities at KATH to provide health essentials such as gloves overalls, nose masks, face shields, goggles, aprons, examination gloves, heavy-duty gloves, gumboot, hand sanitisers, and others for healthcare frontliners in the prevention and containment of the coronavirus.

In other news, Ghanaian actress, Jackie Appiah has said she is not looking to be paid or compensated in any way for educating the public on the novel Coronavirus disease.

Speaking in an interview on 3FM, the delectable actress says, she believes it’s her civic responsibility as a celebrity, to use her status to influence people.

Jackie Appiah who says she has been affected by the virus, including movie premieres, said everyone should come on board to help the fight.
