Fresh-faced actor Van Vicker has sung Nana Akufo Addo’s praises for putting some parts of Greater Accra and Kumasi under lockdown to halt the ravaging coronavirus which is literally sweeping the world into oblivion.
During Nana Akufo Addo’s 4th update on the coronavirus situation in Ghana which was telecasted live on national TV, he announced that certain areas in Accra and Kumasi which have been identified the hotspot forCovid-19 will remain under lockdown for two weeks subject to review upon expiry.
The new measure has received varied reactions from Ghanaians and to Van Vicker, this is a step in the right direction. He also appealed to Ghanaians who live within the restricted areas to follow this protocol.
He wrote, “Well done Mr. President. A tough decision to make in these difficult times. The citizenry will be affected at different levels depending on where one finds oneself in the value chain, so I agree with you that there should be a critical observation and a constant review where necessary of the directive.
“Meanwhile I urge all citizens who live within the lockdown areas to adhere to the restrictions. We all hope this stringent measure will help ameliorate the spread of the coronavirus. God Bless Ghana #vanvicker #theyounggodfather #Ghana #coronavirus.”
