Obour is being investigated for not disclosing his father’s travel history – Oppong Nkrumah

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister of Information made it known that various agencies have started investigating into the death of Obour’s father.

This happens after the musician hid the travel history of his father when he took him to the Ridge Hospital in Accra.

Obour allegedly is said to have put the lives of health workers at risk because they took care of his father who passed on shortly of the deadly coronavirus, without any protective gears.

It was revealed that the man had recently returned from the United States.

The father of Obour joined his ancestors before the results of a COVID-19 test which proved positive was ready.

Obour’s dad is said to have come into contact with about fifteen(15) health workers who were ignorant of his coronavirus status.

These victimised health workers are in self-isolation and the hospital authorities have also put in place measures to have the emergency centre disinfected.

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah said the Ghana Health Service have started investigating into the matter.

“The initial brief that came in was to the effect that this patient [Obuor’s father] has a prior condition and has been tested…and that his earlier test was not disclosed either to the persons who were picking him up in the ambulance or the persons in the emergency room that had to receive him first”, he remarked.

The Information Minister gave a pep-talk to the public to report accurate information to the relevant bodies to help fight coronavirus.
