Christian Atsu retires from Ghana Black Stars.

Ghanaian footballer and Newcastle winger, Christian Atsu according to report sighted on Ghanasoccernet has retired from the Ghana Black Stars.

From sources, Christian Atsu has decided to call time on his Balck Stars future due to the “neglect over the injury that ultimately cost him his starting place at Newcastle United”.

The football winger who has frequently featured in Ghana Black Stars matches for the past seven years according to reports, told Black Stars coach Charles Akonnor he is no longer available for selection.

This explains why he was not part of Ghana’s squad mentioned by Akonnor to face Sudan in a botched 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
