The President of the republic of Ghana Akufo-Addo has extended the ban on social and public gatherings in the country by two weeks.
The ban, according to him, will be effective Monday, April 27, 2020.
This is part of the measures to fight the coronavirus (COVID 19) in the country.
President Akufo-Addo announced this while giving the 8th address of the coronavirus updates in the country on Sunday, April 26, 2020.
Ghanaians are looking forward for a quick lifting of the ban on social and public gatherings due to the declining nature of business in the country currently.
