Bishop Daniel Obinim, the founder and leader of International Godsway Church has been arrested by the police on Thursday, May 14th, 2020.
Angel Obinim according to report was caught red-handed while rendering counselling service amid the ban on social gatherings which also included halt in all church activities.

The police according to report, received information that, he was having counseling session at his church and they went there to arrest him.
Obinim after inspecting the arrest warrant told the police he needed a moment to change his cloth before leaving for the police station.
According to the report, Obinim went into his room, and upon returning told the police he is very sick.

Per the report, Obinim has been hospitalized and he is still under police arrest.
Report by Peace FM’s Nana Yaw Kese revealed that Obinim has been on the wanted list of the police for a while now but he has been avoiding arrest until today.
