Lydia Forson whom recently has been in the news for being threatened by both NPP and NDC activist, says things have been extremely challenging these days but interestingly enough she always has a plan B.
In her opinion, what she noticed within these hard times is that the Coronavirus outbreak teaches one to be more dynamic.
She identified this period of COVID-19 as the time to learn other things, and before the “Stay-at-home oder” was launched, she and her team had planned in advance on their intentions.
She disclosed that,as a creative person, she foreknew she wouldn’t be able to be on set to produce any movies, but saw social media as mediums to still be in touch with her followers and make known her business to millions of people.
“There is always something you can do, the great thing about what I do is I don’t limit myself to only one thing, so even though this is difficult, I am not hit that hard. When we were on lockdown, I told myself I may not be able to go on set, but I am a creative, I am an actress, I entertain people, what can I do within my four corners, so it forces you to go into creative mood,” she added.
Lydia Forson said it is rather sad that the system does not permit artiste to make enough money from their art works even while using social media, and encourage stakeholders to create an enabling environment for them to monetize their works.
