Female rapper Freda Baffour Awuah known to be Freda Rhymes in Showbiz says her colleague Sista Afia should be applauded for waking her up from her nap.
Sista Afia recently outdoored a diss song titled WMT which fueled the release of diss songs by many female rappers to retaliate each other. This move saw Freda Rhymes and Eno collaborating to create a buzz to give the women in the industry the attention they deserve.
Speaking in an interview on UTV, Freda Rhymes admitted the fact that her rap career was going down the drain and she was left with no opportunity but to take advantage of Sista Afia’s fame to revive her career.
Freda further said that ever since she took the edge of the ‘beef’ she has had large number of people following her on social media and particularly on YouTube.
“I’ve asked people to subscribe to my youtube but I’ve always not got people to subscribe but now go and see the numbers so for that side, I thank Sista Afia for that,” she added.
