Reggae music legend , Majek Fashek, Dies

Famous Reggae Musician legend, Majek Fashek is dead. The music artist died on June 1st 2020 after combating with serious health problems in a US based hospital.

The gifted musician, real names Majekodunmi Fasheke, was a singer-songwriter and guitarist who comes from Edo state. His departure was announced by his manager, Uzo Omenka on Tuesday.

“Yes, I have been having pressure calls from All over. Yes, it is true that the legend has gone to be with the Lord but this time I want to say we should all celebrate him, his achievements, he has done a lot for Nigeria, Africa and whatever the family decides will get to you. This is all I have to say for now”. He confirmed.

Majek as he is popularly called has been battling with multiple health problems for a while now and his death has come as a surprise to many. He was one of the first reggae musicians from Nigeria to get various awards to his credit . Some of his top hits include ‘Little Little Patience’, ‘Send Down the Rain’ just to mention a few.
