Lydia Forson marks 3rd June Disaster, as she laments about efforts made to prevent that

Gallywood actress Lydia Forson has marked the June 3rd disaster with a worrying message on how efforts are being made to prevent that from happening.

Five years ago, Ghana was thrown into a state of mourning after people lost their lives in a flood disaster at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

On June 3, 2015, Ghanaians woke up to hear of incident in which over 150 people got burnt to death after a heavy downpour.

The screen goddess took to her Twitter page to register her displeasure and worries about how less efforts have been made to prevent that from happening again.

She wrote, “June 3rd. 154 Ghanaians died and hundreds suffered severe burns and even more were displaced. Years later, very little has changed and lives are still in jeopardy whenever it rains.
