A Nigerian model scout, Benjamin Ese has called out Nigerian musician, Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, better known as D’banj, accusing him of raping his friend 2 years ago.
Justice for Uwa has been trending on social media for the past few days, it was reported that an undergraduate (Vera Uwaila Omozuwa) of Uniben was raped and killed in a Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in Benin.

Since then, Nigerians off and on social media have organised online and offline protests in order to seek justice for Uwa.
D’banj was part of a host of revered Nigerian celebrities and prominent personalities who joined forces to scream justice for a female Nigerian student.
However, in a massive plot twist, D’banj is now being accused by one content creator by the name Otunba Benjamin, of raping a friend of his somewhere in 2018.

According to Benjamin, the singer had no right to speak against rape, accused him of being a rapist and of raping her friend.
He said the incident happened in a hotel in Victoria Island, D’Banj collected the spare key of the girl’s hotel room from the receptionist and allegedly raped her in there.
Although he didn’t mention the name of his friend, he stated that she decided to keep quiet after the incident because of the stigma.
