Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay has added her name to the veterans of Ghana music for sometime now, and has been persistent since joining the industry.
As stated by the music star, people refer to her the hottest female artiste in Ghana but would like to called Queen of Ghana Music. In an interview with RuffTown Records singee, she claimed,she has the right to be called the queen of Ghana music.

Meanwhile, many music loving fans hold divergent views about her with some suggesting that she (Wendy Shay) would have been irrelevant in the music industry but for demise of Ebony Reigns. Different School of thoughts also has it that Wendy Shay tried to emulate Ebony Reigns and has not been unique since joining the industry.
Along the line, she was asked about her feelings for not making it to the 5-most watched artistes in Ghana,a survey conducted by Billboard and she responded by saying, she felt excited for them thus the artiste who were fortunate to have made the mark.
The fact that the made the list means something good is happening to Ghana music industry, she added.
