Multiple Award-winning Ghanaian artiste Martin King Arthur also known as Kofi Kinaata, has pledged never to compose a song in English.
As said by the artiste, he doesn’t find any logic in it to sing in a language that is not his.

In an interview on NEAT FM, the music star stated that, since the veteran Michael Jackson never sang in Fante, he will also not sing in English.
This statement by the artiste was in response to a question asked by the host, Abeiku Santana if he could express himself in English and will ever do a song in English.
” Why should I bother myself singing in a language that is not mine? Did Michael Jackson ever sing in Fante? I will never sing in English,” Kofi Kinaata reiterated.
