Tracy Sarkcess, the wife of multiple award-winning musician, Sarkodie, has lashed out a social media user running a fake account on Twitter in her name.
Well, it is no longer news that some mischievous people have take it upon themselves to open fake social media accounts in the name of popular celebrities.

These accounts usually take issues on a lighter note and create humour in the name of the said celebrity, however, the names used by these accounts are very similar to that of the celebrity and one can easily mistake them for the actual accounts of the said celebrity.
And Perhaps this is why verification of accounts for public figures is a big deal for many!
Prior to the arrival of the Sarkcess family, fans were hopping that either Sarkodie or Tracy would inform them about their arrival.

Netizens were on the lookout only for an account on twitter which resembles that of Tracy Sarkcess “@TracySarlcess tweeted “Welcome to Ghana. @sarkodie and myself with Titi have arrived in Ghana. Thank you for travelling mercies.”
This post of course drew the attention of Ghanaians on the possible arrival of the family.
Tracy Sarkcess upon seeing the tweet, quoted the parody account expressing her displeasure with the tweet made about her and the family pretending to be her.

Taking to Twitter to register her displeasure, Tracy Sarkcess said it’s high time those accounts are done away with.
She said; “Can you stop with this nonsense and fake account please?! Impersonating someone is a crime! If it’s a parody account fine but let it be known and stop deceiving people. It’s my name your playing with. Thank you & good morning” .
“Next thing you know, he/she will start asking ppl for momo as if it were me!” She added.
