Korle Bu hospital staff trembles as CEO tests positive for coronavirus disease

The working staff of the Korle Bu Teaching hospital cries out for Chief Executive Officer (CEO) , Dr Daniel Asare after he has tested positive for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

According to information, he has been infected for some day now.

Three active staff in Dr Asare’s office have also been quarantined and gone into compulsory isolation to prevent the spread of the disease.

As an immediate measure, the Medical Director of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr Ali Samba has taken up the role of acting as CEO.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s COVID-19 case count is now 15,013 with 11,078 recoveries and 95 deaths.
